Hi all! Over the years I wrote a series of pieces for piano, keeping refining and improving them. I would like to post one here now and then if that's OK. Here is a video recording of the first piece titled "After Work, Late at Night".

best wishes,

  • Something weird going on, André

    I get this:8685418058?profile=original

Unusual traffic? It's those juggernauts that keep driving through my living room I suppose!!! Normally I only get cars and Transit vans.

But whose systems have decided to check the traffic from my computer?

I hope to hear your work when I can prove I'm not a robot. It won't let me through. The images to match are too small to see clearly what's what..... Maybe I am a robot.

  • Hi Andreas -  Very nice piece here, your refinements have created a pleasing and mellow blend.  I also admire your restraint, most pianists (and composers) would have included some pianistic ornaments and flourishes that really aren't needed. Good work!

The YT player is working here Dane, perhaps there's some regional limitations from YT?  Of course I hadn't considered that you might be a robot.:)

  • Hi André, again,

The robot in me got through at last. My ears happen to be a matched pair of Neumann mikes.

A very nice piece and performance. It was pleasant to watch your playing - as Ingo says, restrained and for me unaffected.. I loved the elaborations that started creeping in around 2'25"

    Mellifluous and dreamy. Most accomplished.

  • Hi Ingo,

thanks for listening, I am happy that you like the piece. The music describes the evenings that I came home from 8 hours shifts at the restaurant where I worked for 10 years. Very tired, not ornaments needed here.
