Hi Jacob,
It is well constructed and atmospheric, with excellent production values. It reminds me of movie-music, I had a feeling of floating or flying over a jungle-land while the music played in the background. There is also a melancholy feeling about it. I think many of us modern composers owe something to the movies, even if we don't expressly think of them when composing. Were you thinking of movies when you wrote it?

thank you so much! yeah i am leaning that way but am definitely interested in exploring more abstract sounds and compositions in the future. i was feeling as i was writing it that it was leaning towards the lines of being reunited with a loved one, so then i just pushed it in that direction. maybe it was the way that i arranged the strings as to where it ultimately led me.

The problem with soundtracks is that it doesn't develop, it circles around a common point of gravity. One would need the movie here to achieve the interplay. I am convinced it would work perfectly, with so many emotions and expressions.

thankyou Kjell yeah its a floaty mood, the next ones are abit more deliberate in nature. Thank you for relating it to that masterpiece , i can see what you mean, its nice to have a disscussion about music, the thing is you can always know more tomorrow. Are you talkng about :
