So, I'm new here, so I figured I'd share what I'm working on at the moment. It is nowhere near done.
It is a piece of music based on the events of the life of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. The way I originally planned it, I was going to have each character have a leitmotif. Each character would get their intro, and so on and so forth. This isn't what I did, however, and I might drop it and make it pure music. I can and probably will go through and at least label all of the characters that are relevant to the story. But yeah, general idea is that it will start out mysterious and interesting, and slowly become less normal as weird things start happening, leading up to the betrayal of the last knight of the round table, which I plan on depicting with "unholy" sounding music.
The music is supposed to be a throwback to baroque style, but at the same time be new and exciting while being in my own style, which I am defining more and more as I continue composing. Hence the tri-tones throughout one part of it. There are several parts that need work, but I'll go through them on a latter date in detail.
I put this in open to revision, so feel free to tell me to make changes. It'll probably be those same parts I have my reservations about.
Edit: It seems this isn't the place to put music if you want someone else to listen to it. I'll give it a while, maybe the people that frequent this area have not come online in a while.
