I'm a big fan of his. I find his music has this curious quality where it all seems as if it were based on the wingbeats of a moth. Zigzaggy, erratic, and yet beautiful and poetic. I always wonder if Paliashvili liked moths.
Does anyone else not think this sounds very mothlike?

I'm a fan, I think his music is great. He has written the famous Daisi and Abesalom and Eteri operas which are masterpieces.
Very beautiful music.
OMG nice to know I'm not the only one, usually when I mention him people ask 'Who the hell's that' or 'How do you even pronounce that name?'
He is pretty famous in Georgia and Russia.
Not in the English speaking sphere though, outside of a few classical music snobs I usually have to explain who he is!
