By now we have come to the midway point in the Suite of Antique Dances. The dancers have been going for 20 minutes nonstop. It's time for them to take a load off and sit a spell. For you, it's time to kick back, order your favorite adult beverage, and don't forget to tip your waitress. Here is some intermission music.

  • Loved it.

Some of the harmony, particularly some chord progressions remind me of Prokofiev but the whole piece is fresh.  Lovely slow movement.  Off to find your first movt now.

  • Alan,

Getting a handle on the final format,  the intro, intermezzo, and finale will have ideas taken from Prokofiev.  Then there are seven dances, Mazurka, Gavotte, Tarantella, Minuet, Polonaise, Polka, and Waltz.  I'm working on the Polka now.  Thanks for listening.

  • On the easy listening station I suppose or maybe elevator Muzak.  I'm glad you liked it.
