Hallo everyone.
This is a track I've been working on and off the past two days. I've started an experimental foray into hybrid music, and this is one of my first results. I'd like some critique on the atmosphere that I've attempted to establish between 00:57 and 1:40, because that's where I spent most of my time, trying to etch out complementary, fitting elements. Everything else is as gibberish, because they were instinctual fillers that act to bridge the song.

Thank you! :) That was more than I dared hope: a good atmosphere. I realise that the drums are very... intrusive, but as I mentioned before, it was on the spur of the moment. I ought to work on the strings and the drums. Thank you again!

I was planning to add the drums again as soon as the multi part cello starts around 1:38, only this time, they are less intrusive, because looking back, I felt the snares were a bit too powerful.
I shall definitely apply that when I write more to this. I'll think of what I want to convey, and write it as such. What you said has really helped. Thank you so much! :)

Hi Niranjan,
that's the style I prefer :)
In order to achive better results, may I suggest you some filtering? Try to EQ the plucked synth coming around 1:00 with a High Pass filter. This way the whole atmosphere might turn into something warmer, preparing the climax for the other instruments in the finale.
Oh I shall try that. I'll post a result in some time, I think. Thanks! :)
