Composers' Forum - 2010 Update

MAKE THIS THE YEAR

We hope that you will make this the year that you start that blog about composing!  Start being more active in our forums and comment and post on some members' pages!  This forum's awesomeness comes from all of the great content added by its members - the music, discussions and comments by the composers!

COMPOSERS' FORUM GATHERING

We are talking about our first gathering of our composers!  Admin James Semple is hosting a get together in London in late February.  It's just an informal gathering to get to know each other and chat over drinks.  We are considering having more formal, larger gatherings if this works out and there is interest.  If you are interested, click the link below, check it out and let us know if you can make it!

CHAT INSTANTLY WITH OTHER COMPOSERS

It's easy!  Just go to the main page - the chat room is embedded right there.  You can pop out the chat into a separate window and send private chats if you want.  Let us know what's up in your composing life!

BE A PART OF THE WORLD'S LONGEST PIECE

We are all composing a two minute segment of one big piece of music!  You just sign up for a section, start in a particular tempo and key, end in another particular key and tempo, and upload the audio file for us to add to the collective and eventually blend in to the final audio!  Click the link for more info!

A GROUP FOR EVERY COMPOSER

We have many groups for different composer interests here!  Classical, Film Score, World Music, Orchestrators, Game Composers - over 40 groups - each with it's own set of members and discussions!  You can join as many groups as you want!  Check them out!
