Furor

This is a three minute piece for several piano players or for a player piano.

My aim was a challenge: Would I be able to compose an interesting, consistent and not boring piece of music where every note is calculated in a accordance to a schema? In my opinion I reached my goal. What do you think?

All notes are generated by a computer program in a language I developed for this purpose. Only the dynamics I added afterwards.

In addition I used a spreadsheet application to calculate an overview of the harmonies in each of the 81 measures of the composition. This is seen in the screen shot Furor.png. The rows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 show the semitones above or below the central tone D4 for all seven voices.
