  • Great fugue. Nice theme.  loved the stretto section.

    Fugue is one of my favorite forms.

     

    I have a doubt though... the last notes.. in the triplets..is that an F# you are using write before the end? Why did you anticipate the tierce di picardy ending? Just curious.

    I have used a number of triplets before the ending as follows; AGF GFE F#ED E DED Db.  I believe that you are talking about the 3rd one (F#ED).  I used F# in the triplet to make a transition from minor to major key. 

     

    Due to my limited knowledge on music theory, I had to look up the dictionary to understand what you meant by “tierce di picardie” ending.  Good for my education!  I ended my piece in major key since I feel relieved by doing that.
