Hello guys! It's been a while since I posted on this page.

This is a piece i'm still working on, i would love to know what you think of it.

In the score you'll see a pedal notation for guitar, i just did that so the midi would sound a little more like a real guitar. There's also a separated idea at the end, that's just a draft.

Please give it a listen. Thanks, everyone!

  • I like it. It's consistent and there are some really bright moments I enjoyed a lot that imposed a good movement to the piece while maintaining it's aesthetic coherence. I would work the piano solo though (maybe shorter). Cello notation is OK.

  • i like this minimalism feeling with atonality and noise shaping.

instruments sound not very realistic in many places, this can be fixed using sample libraries. the interesting thing about this piece is that it sounds ok with those electronic sounds, because composition techniques are close to electronic music.

  • Hello Alexey, what do you mean by composition techniques close to electronic music? It sounds interesting...

  • I really listening, and I felt it was quite coherent as a piece.

I didn't quite get the ending, though.  There was a silence, then it came back for a short stretch.  That's fine, but to me it didn't feel quite 'right'.  That was the only thing that didn't quite work for me.

My comment is that of a lay person, though, so keep that in mind.

  • Thanks for your comments guys!

Hi, Mariza. This is still a work in progress, so what you heard at the end was just a draft idea that i will maybe use. The piece has no ending yet.

  • Hi, Jaime. Thank you for clarifying that about the ending.

There was a typo on what I wrote (I noticed it just now).  I meant to have written "I really enjoyed listening".

    :-)
