I made the melody with the following rules:
*The musical practice of many centuries bears out the conclusion that melodic continuity is connected with predominantly stepwise motion.
*Leaps can prevent melodic continuity.
*In the interest of variety, we must employ some disjunct motion and leaps.
*Most cantus firmus contains 2 or 4 leaps.
*Skips of a 3rd can be continued in the same direction.
*When the leap is larger than a 3rd, a change of direction should follow. In most cases, this change of direction should be stepwise motion.
*The student should avoid 2 leaps of the same direction or more than two consecutive leaps of the same direction.
*More rules to go!!! he he he.
I know this melody is just a piece of shayt. I listen to good quality music everyday. I get frustrated that all the good music I listen to, doesn't translate for me towards making a good composition. However, I am following the rules and once I figure things out with melody, I will be greater than any great composers of the past.

I am so sorry. I did not intend to post 3 threads. I don't know what happened.

Jason,
"MARK MY WORD."
Duly noted. Good luck..
Thanks for the instructions. As for the score, I realized that I saved this piece on Finale as an MP3 file and I didn't save the score. However, next time I have a new piece, I will use print screen, which is easy to do, and I will upload the score. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I did the thing where you listen to two of the same video at the same time starting at different times. I like canons.
In all seriousness, have you considered adding some kind of harmony? I guess it is kind of hard to do at this point, but either way.
Also, your text is in the quote boxes, which is confusing to me. I don't know how to fix that though.
