Despair with Hope

This song is in the key of C Minor and it starts with that chord. It goes to random minor keys to signify despair. Then it modulates to several Major Keys to signify hope and it ends in the key of C Major.

I just need to know what's good and what's bad in this piece I made up.

I haven't composed a song in months and this is the first song I composed in 2015. So I'm due. My inspiration: I was watching Hillary Clinton on TV in her speech at the U.N. disclosing her private emails made public. It makes me think of despair. little voice:he he he.

I felt that this was just the start of the piece and needs further development. I liked the harmonic language but the rhythmic language was a bit stagnate. The instrument choice was interesting and very retro and kind of vaporware-esk. But it does need more.

I have a better version of this piece and it's longer and it has better rhythm, but I need an H4N to record. I had no time to transcribe by ear. I had it recorded on my Yamaha.
