I recently ran a composition contest which I very much enjoyed and would like to try another. Please let me know if you would have interest in participating in a composition contest: "Best Romantic Era-style Composition." If there is interest from at least 5 composers, I will do it.

Possibly, but depends on contest parameters, i.e....
(a) Deadline/closing date
(b) Piece length (min/max minutes)
(c) Limit on number of instruments allowed (e.g. between 2 and 8 instruments, no more than 2 of any instrument, etc)
I am interested! But it would be nice if we could have more information...
I propose: 1) two months deadline from start of contest; 2) max length 4 minutes; 3) no limit on instrumentation, or alternately, pick any 4 instruments
If (3) is pick any 4 instruments (from a list that you provide?), and the deadline is mid-December (or later), then I am in.

Hello David - let's do 4 instruments, but I will not provide a list - the composers may decide. If (counting David as #1) I can get a total of 5 composers to sign up by Friday October 19, I will moderate this contest
Just curious, why so few instruments?
For me....
(a) More of a challenge.
(b) Levels the playing field so the contestants are judged on their ability to write for a small number of instruments in a 'Romantic-Era' style. Otherwise you could end up with a Mahler symphony against a Brahms String Quartet (I exaggerate, but you get my point)

David sums it up well
No additional sign-ups so far. If you'd like to participate in this contest, please post here by Friday. Need 5 total composers for it to be a go -
Bob, I'm ok with not limiting the instrumentation. Does that mean you would like to be in?
