I am here to tell you about these web sites which are for Music Composing, Ear training and History of Music:
Musicstoryland.com is about music composing based on the sound effect, writing a story about what the music describes and drawing a picture. It has dynamics, and an option to choose an instrument. The main instrument is piano.
Perfectlistening.com is about Ear Training, listening to a intervals, chords, scales, modal scales, progressions. It is also about History of Music, listening and guessing to what is the composer of the piece, guessing what is the piece, guessing in which era is the piece, guessing in which year was the composer born.

And these sites see very poorly made so I am leery about them
I think you have a problem in that people are not going to want to download something without much more info about what it does.
You need a link to a video example on Youtube showing us how this works in reality.
I'm wary of downloading anything from a new source and I'm sure many others are
Because the website needs a lot of professional attention (in terms of its design) you will not build up that confidence in the product.
Others may disagree with me, but I think that you need a better designed website and more examples.
a part of me wants to say that this isnt a scam because most scams dont go after something soooo specific as music theory education but this looks like a scam.

And I will fix the design.
There is an about section that explains what the downloadable software does.
So, I thought I should try market it, but you tell me about the poor design :)))))
Oh, well, at least I have tried and I know what I should work on.
Thank you
To get people to download or buy you have to make them confident, as there are so many scams out there. Your webpage has to make a good impression, even if the product is absolutely amazing.
You don't make it clear if Max 5.1 Runtime has limited functionality, as there is another page where you can buy the product. The difference is not made clear.
You need screenshots of the product at work, a brand logo etc, get rid of the green colour (too harsh)
I admire anyone who designs music software, so I don't want to sound discouraging, but you need to make these changes first.
