Hey all, I just joined the forums recently :) I would like to share my most recent piece:

I've recently completed, in what I think is my best work. The piece uses standard concert band instrumentation (high school wind band). Took me about 5 weeks or so of writing, but I started on it around 2015 as a sort of random thing I made. I really don't know what else to say about it, but I am open to suggestions, criticism, etc as I want to be able to create pieces that can sell!

  • Eric...

You should indeed be proud.  Very enjoyable.  Love the energy and the Celtic feel.  For some reason my mind always goes to the cinematic when I hear such music.  This, to me, evokes an epic scene of soldiers marching into battle.

    Keep it up!!

  • Thank you Michael!

I forgot to mention that I made minor adjustments to the piece and added some more percussion. I have updated the links on the original post.

  • Eric, the link for SoundCloud doesn't work now.

  • Very cinematic indeed. Lots of emotion and movement in there. Nice work.
