Is anybody else having trouble with getting their music to play on this site? All of my clips were blocked because of some kind of issue with the Flash Player. So, I removed them and replaced them with regular mp3 files. But they'll only play if I right click on the selection and have it open up in a new tab (??)! Meanwhile, all I can see is the big broken Flash sign where my music is supposed to be. I've checked other member's pages and all I see is the same broken Flash sign on their pages as well. Some pages don't show any options for listening to a member's work. This is very frustrating!

Hi GT,
As we have discussed, this is a browser setting issue. I have uploaded the file you sent me to my direct e-mail. When I go to my own page, I must also enable Flash in order to be able to see it, because the media player on this site is Flash-based. You can check out my page for "TEST_IGNORE." to hear your piece there.
It's an unfortunate way in which browsers work. A few years back, due to security concerns and computer crashing problems, most browsers started disabling Flash by default, requiring the user to enable it on a per-visit, or per-site basis in order to able to see/hear the file.
The site does not allow direct uploading of mp3s to your home page, but you can upload to a blog post (check out my post on the home page on the right side), or forum discussion and since those do not use the built-in player, it is not blocked by your browser.
You say you are posting the mp3s somewhere where you can right-click them and listen to them. Where are you doing this?

p.s. some members do not upload their music to their page, it is not required to use the site to do so. I didn't, for example, until testing your file just now
So HOW do you enable the flash player? If I right click on the blocked box, the RUN THIS PLUGIN option is grayed out. Only the hide this plug in option is usable. I don't see any other options to activate the player.
As for the other question, I went into the Edit Playlist page and deleted the old flash files. Then I uploaded the mp3s (not realizing that they'd just be turned back into, I assume, flash files). It showed my new list and when I tried to play the 1st tune, it just X'd out the player button. I wanted to see what would happen if I right clicked on the next song and it gave me the option to OPEN IN A NEW TAB. when I selected that, it opened in a new tab a played just fine.

So if I drop flash, how do I get that Blocked Player Box permanently removed from my page?
