I am very excited to be going to this event at Snape Maltings, and I was wondering if anyone else from the Composers' Forum was going.  As far as I can make out, this is a series of motivational and inspirational talks related to music composition and production.

In case anyone is interested, this is extracted from the Aldeburgh website:

"the talks will be hosted by TED Music Director Thomas Dolby, with speakers including Grammy award-winner Imogen Heap, producer William Orbit, music journalist David Toop and renowned pianist Louis Lortie. The Aldeburgh Music TEDx will take place on 6th November, from 10am to 6pm, at Aldeburgh’s Britten Studio (in the Hoffman building) in Suffolk"

I would love to be there, too far for me I think, but I would be enormously grateful if you could blog about it. I think the vids will be released on TED eventually.

  • Saturday's TEDx conference at Aldeburgh was amazing. My head is still buzzing with the content. Ian Shepherd has already blogged about it here http://productionadvice.co.uk/tedx-aldeburgh-2010-a-rough-guide
Too much cool stuff to cover in one post.
