Music Composers Unite!
Hi,
I had promised one of my high school friends, İsmail KARAHAN, to compose one of his poems.
But did not. Then recently I heard he is ailing with a serious health problem. I had to write
this in one week not to regret my promise for the rest of my life.
I hope you enjoy it.

Note. The theme comes from the major at the end with a smooth transformation.

Very nice Ali, I'm sure your friend will love this and be honored to have your music displaying his lyrics. You have a good arrangement and sound here, it would be wonderful to hear this with a singer.
It's beautiful. Congratulations!
Thank you Ingo, I hope sometime in the future a real performance may show up.

HI, Ali,
Nice to see you again. I was going to drop you a note but knew you were busy - and here you are!
A most pleasant song and a lovely poem to work with. Nice that it slowly transformed into the major from round about bar 100.
I haven't tried to analyse it - don't want to with a song like this in case it breaks the spell of the music for me. But I noticed plenty of indicators of your skills, quite aside from the general harmony that has some interesting twists. A few suspensions, harmonies with the recorder in contrary motion, nice contrapuntal effect - and such.
Your friend should be pleased indeed - let's hope so.
And I hope you're keeping well and coping with this endless lockdown it seems.
All the best,
Dane.
