Add your gear list!

Hey ho whaddya know - a lot of composers have been asking what samples I use and so on. I know a lot of you guys have been asked the same thing. I suggest this: Use your text box on your page to list the gear and software you use. List your computer, OS, sequencer, Virtual Instruments and add some notes about what you like or don't like about it! You can also add pictures in that box, so you could add a pic of your rack, if you know what I mean. (I mean your rack of musical equipment, sicko!) Do it now or be destroyed.

  • you arent posting a picture of Sharon's rack? *runs fast from a beating*
  • Hi Larry, when you click on "edit" to edit your text box, there is a tool bar at the top. Hover your mouse over them for it to tell you what they do. The far right one is for adding pictures. It will actually upload the picture to the ning servers and create a text hyperlink in your text box. That's all the "code" looking text. When you save your changes, the code tells it to insert the picture.
  • "um. I dont have any pics, mainly because I dont have a full blown studio. and I dont feel like embarrassing myself."

Heh. Didn't stop me! Only one of my pictures shows my "studio" (actually a lounge in a 2-bed flat with a large keyboard and a laptop in it!). However, I have great plans to add far more boxes and shiny lights. Just yesterday I bought a nice pair of Mackie monitors (HR624's) - although as yet I don't have anywhere to place them! One step at a time...
    • all the lights in the world dont mean sh1t bro, its the music and the soul, something which you got a lot of both!
