As this is my first discussion on the forum I thought I'd start with something short.

Here's a 15s piece I wrote for the Free Music Archive's "microSong Challenge", now on my website:

The only rule for the contest was that each piece (audio) needed to last 15s or less.  I didn't have much time at hand but managed to record everything and write a score on a single page (the only part missing is the ride cymbal).  It's all in the link above, and it's under a Creative Commons license so anybody can reuse it.

I thought it was a good contest idea, and I like making free music - I feel I have more freedom when there's no commercial pressure.  I'd be interested to know what you think of this.
