About Me:: I am awesome.

I was a staff composer at Scripps Productions for 6 years. I wrote music for one billion promos, show themes, and commercial type things.

The producers smelled bad (except for the one I married,) so I quit about a year ago, and am now fulltime freelance!

I compose mostly for TV. HGTV, DiY, Food Network, Fine Living, A&E, Discovery, Court TV, The History Channel and so on.

I love to do image spots and promos.

I'm in Scotland!

Yo! I'm sitting here in Staffin on the Isle of Skye in Scotland listening to the accordion music piped through the walls of this cafe. Scotland rocks! Scotland has a lot of rocks, I mean. I bought a chanter and a pennywhistle. I almost bought an accordion but they were sharp and I didn't want to have to get them tuned... I will blog about this trip when I get back next week! Well .... I am in the middle of upgrading my PC - so as you can imagine, everything is upside down at the moment!

I've been doodling just to make sure all the programs are working properly etc, so some music should appear next week....

AND I am in the middle of a batch of job applications which should create a whole new bundle of chaos if I get a job on the other side of the county and have to move!!

Apart from that, I have all the time in the world to sit down and make music!

I was tempted to go for a job in London (sound operator in the Mamma Mia shows!), but my sanity might have worn a little thin listening to karaoke ABBA for 12 months...
