Certainly good work, man! Sax as symbol of loneliness - I really like it. You have built in you score you own "film" that support and raises the screenplay.

Hey Doug, thanks man. Yea this is no feat of amazing composition but more an exercise in delivering what the director asked for, and trying to stay with the underscore concept. It's hard for me to not get heavy handed but I did my best with the requests of the director in mind. The verb is an altiverb setting I'll check exactly which later if you are interested. And yea I always start a project with a QuickTime file. Usually that's what's delivered to me, or an mp4. Vey rarely a .wmv file. But usually I get an hd file so first step is to make a 320x240 file and then in cubase it will create video and audio separated, in DP it will ask if I want to copy the audio to the time line. Then nce you have that vid in your DAW it's time to work out all your cues and hit points and tempi and onwards to creativity :-)

I think the director will be very happy. Your music was tasteful and unobtrusive as it should be. I become lost in the film, drawn into it. Good job, Chris!

What reverb did you use on your sax at 6:10? (excellent- really matches the alley) For reference did you simply place a QuickTime file into your DAW?

This is a short film I worked on this winter. WHILE its not porn for sure, it is very sexually explicit and so if you might be offended by sexual themes, dont watch this ;-)
