And Scripps, which owns HGTV, Food Network, DIY, GAC, and Fine Living networks, owns all the music they do outright. As far as the libraries, the former manager of the music department joined the legal department in order to handle only the music library liscensing and cue sheets, etc. It's a sore subject with a lot of composers including our own. But it's a full time job in a town not known for production normally. Chris can give you more insight than I can but he's had discussions for years with the FM Pro group. I hope that helps.
