Hi Simon. I came back to listen to all of your up-uploaded works on the page..
I still have the concerto for piano, orchestra and percussion, on my computer and the Stour Listening to them once or twice every 3 months or so...
Now I understand the comment I left on your frist movement in your symphony you posted, was a case of bad ability to express my thought at that time.
The bad choice of a word in one the sentences, made the whole thing look like something I never intended.
There is a similar Swedish word, with a subtle difference to it.
I share your feelings about Philip Glass. I recall a friend of mine dragging me to a theatre 20 or so years ago when that film
( K plus a lot of unpronouceable letters ) was released.
I left 15 minutes into the film with a raging headache!
I actually finished my section a good two weeks ago, and I already uploaded a wav file to one of the discussion threads. I'll add it again to the new thread.
Alphabet Green is amazing ! I liked this one is particular. I almost imagined characters and a story while listening to this !
This was your debut orchestral track ? Unbelievable.
Very original, very captivating !
All the best for you future !
Thanks for the comment. I've been experimenting with a few different sounds and styles as of late. I'm doing sketches for Sonata No. 3 and some other smaller works right now and I'm trying to go in a few different directions. Stay tuned as I'll be unveiling it within the next few weeks. Cheers, man.
Thanks again Simon. It is one of my own favorites, but as you can see, still needs to be pieced together. It actually exemplifies how I put things together
Hey Simon, how are you doing? The pieces end abruptly because I am not exceedingly patient and I jump from piece to piece (I am trying to get better at that). Currently I am using Garritan for the piano sounds and EWQLSO for the orchestral sounds. Hopefully I can finish and re-post something soon.
Your Dad seems pretty supportive. I tend to put my music through a few programmes because...each time it's like another chance to proof-read and edit the work and hear it again a bit differently. By the way you should check out the music of James oppenheimer - discussion on main page. He's done a requiem - recorded live and his music is really good and his score for his theme and variations is so professional - done on finale

My apologies for that.
