Just listening to Plateaux, reminds me of the BGM from classic shooting games like Gradius, Blazing Lazers, Gate of Thunder, etc. Nice score to blow up thousand of invading aliens to. =D

Hey Alex! Yes, I do use a Roland JV1080 as one of my primary tone generators. It's nice to see you drop by to listen and check up on my work. Drop by my website some time where I have posted over 20 music videos. =) http://www.jason-ward.com

Hey Alex, thanx for the comment man, I play everything on both... oh hold on, the bass in "calor para dos" was played/arranged by a friend of mine, can take that credit.

Thanks Alex. I will venture to listen to Overcast. It ought to be great. Yeah, all the songs that I've written are going into Finale. At least I wouldn't have to pay a copyist if these were to be released. I actually will take the time to listen to all your tracks because the sounds are so awesome. Take care.

Hey! Alex,

I was just listening to Overcast and thinking, you must be too young to be a Moody Blues fan. Am I wrong?

Hey Alex. My name's Cody. I was just listening to "Antartic Horror Ambience." I couldn't help but be astounded and stimulated by this piece. Very excellent. What technology did you use to write the piece. It is hauntingly beautiful. I'm also a music student- a composition student at Cal State San Bernardino. I always love hearing more new music. I write mostly songs in my spare time, although I've written two pieces so far in concert music for Cal State although the audio files seem to be too large to fit on composer's forum. They're probably not my best as I have more on the way. This one of yours is absolutely gorgeous! Keep it up.

Alex, the player works just fine. What you might want to do to make it more prominent is move it from the left side to the center column like I have set up on my page.

Exodus is an interesting piece. Almost sounds like a conglomerate of two separate titles that work well together as one. Nice arrangement, has a few nice epic spots to it.

I love village theme and I can completely relate to where you got the title after hearing similar works in dozens of role playing game soundtracks while traversing their many towns. Nice.

The Star Burning Blue is kind of reminiscent of Kitaro. Nicely ambient and beautiful. I could see it being the backing to a science documentary of an imaginary star system with a giant blue sun such as Rigel Kentaurus in Orion.

Thanks for the feedback Alex. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your things. You're right about effects. My songs have none. These were midi files I recorded with creative recorder playing back through my audigy sound card. I intend to get back and rework these things to make them sound better, but I can only go so far. It's extremely hard for me to "think" in drums - and click those notes on the staff. I'm in awe of drummers' mindwaves.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. I will surely check out Bjorn Lynne's music. My game composer hero is Jeremy Soule who have scored The Elder Scroll series and many more great games. To be honest, his score in "The Elder Scrolls Morrowind" affected my decision to go into the game industry the most.
Cheers
