thanks for listening to my music. I have had a listen to some of yours and I'm impressed by the progress you've made and the work you've put in over the past couple of years.

Thanks for your comments on my guitar playing. It sucks, actually XD

Well, my computer is a bit limited, thus I can´t use many programms to create music. Right now it´s just finale and edirol orchestral.

Hi Hapsichordal, I'm actually not a classical composer, but I noticed that you've got some pretty nice experimental tracks on the wall. So I'm gonna try to compose something especially for you. Merry Christmas!

lol I must be a n00b..I had absynth but never got to figure out how it works? I use fruity loops whenever I need electronic sounds and/or samples.

By the way, the harpsichord is one of my favourite classic instruments XD

I really liked Riples. I am not into world music, so Riples and Afternoon tea were my favourites XD.
What do you use for the electronic sounds? Absynth?

Sorry for not responding earlier! Didn´t get a notification and I´m unfamiliar with this community system. Thanks for the welcome and encouraging words. Added some music too! I will try to get active here now, been sick for a long time recently.

You left this site about a year ago and then you came back. Where did you go ? Glad to hear the developments you have made in your music and samples.

Thanks for you comment on my page. It's an interesting way to work, especially when it produces unexpected results! I look forward to hearing more collaborative work between yourself & Asevenc. Tanks for enjoying Divertimento - I love Baroque music, and that was just a small excercise to see if I could get near the sound. I find the problem is that the instruments they used sound different from those in modern orchestral sample sets. Also, I think vibrato was not used very much then, and these factors make it difficult to get that unique sense of "Baroque"

I've just been saying to Asevenc how much I enjoyed listening to "Ripples". A good piece of work. Congrats to the pair of you.

yes on this main forum page there is all this policy material about not putting ads or links to other pages, no promoting and what not. theres all this junk about this is not a myspace or facebook.

Hello Harpsichordal, Thanks to responding to my friend invite and your comments about my music. Oddly enough, I only did the video to those pieces because I couldn't find a way of uploading just audio to facebook. It takes me long enough to write a piece of music! Lets just say that doing the video was like pulling fingernails along with lots of old anglo-saxon language. I know what you mean about lugging a Euphonium around, that's way I decided to stick with Baritone - which was bad enough! Talk to you soon - Newport

Hi Harpsichordal
Excuse the delay in replying and thanks again for your listening and comment.
I am now listening to your music and enjoying it a lot. It is just sooo pleasant and relaxing. Its structure, only apparently simple, promotes ease and is full by itself, something impossible if the performence, recording and rest of procedure hadn't been just flawless. The type of work you offer has the extreme difficulty of filling up the blanks with few tools if you know what I mean. I enjoyed it a lot!

Some absolutely beautiful pieces! "When The Saint Sitar" was particularly moving. I love baroque music, but have never totally captured the feel of it when I write. Excellent work!

Thanks for the add and the good comments Nigel! I checked out your stuff as well and am really digging the world music set. Very atmospheric. Your love of baroque is very evident in your small ensemble pieces.
