Hilary Baird's Comments

Hi Hilary. I've been playing piano for 40 years (since I was 7!) 
& started composing songs as a teenager. I started singing
In college with vocal scholarships motivating me. 
I started out as a piano performance major but got
my degree in composition. 

I gigged as a vocalist/pianist for over 20 years,
while running my own piano teaching studio. Now my
day job is public school music/chorus. I teach almost 600
students weekly. So I compose in my time off & weekends. 

It has always been a great way for me to express
my truth & personality. It is my favorite musical thing
to do!

I see you recently started composing. Keep it up! You
have the great advantage of being young--& that will
give you so much power--time & enthusiastic energy make
successful compositions! Good luck. I will check out
music you post on weekends when I have time to listen
well. :)
