I took a brief listen to your work and it is wonderful. I really like what I heard. I am writing for the simple background behind TV shows, commercials, etc. This is something new for me and I am really enjoying it. I will be posting some music soon. Keep tuned. Thanks for the welcome.
okay, if I am using the classic call and answer chord prog, IE, 1455,1454... I will write a 4-measure main melody and repeat it, (or write a 8 measure melody), and transpose each measure to the corresponding chord... a simple "trailing tone" at the end of each measure signals the NEXT chord (root) and connects it all to sound coherent... THIS works well with, say, 1 4 and 5...
BUT, i am looking at your last example (which I am ITCHING TO IMPLEMENT, drooling actually, lol) and I am tryng to figure out how I "represent" a note melody is being voiced in some of those "chords", eh?
can I "represent" a slashed chord, fro instance, by transposing just the one TONE down a octave? (in a note melody)? I supppose I change MODE to represent others?
I dont just strum or plop chords on a piano to compose... I use all note melodies...

Love the compositions. Are you primarily a composer or a accompanist?
