Katherines theme is just gorgeous and atmospheric... ooh and i love the "bad pixie" -creepy. They are all very atmospheric actually -- I am seeing caped Celtics in the mist... dancing fairies and demons... clashing swords and roses fallen to the ground...

hi thanks for the friend request! I am listening to you Emer and CuChulainn just now; very nice! I'll be at least sampling several of the others.

Best wishes,

Good idea, I use Logic and Cubase. I'm quickly realizing that EWQLSO isn't the greatest thing out there, so I'm looking for alternatives, luckily on of my friends/orchestrators has VSL, but I'd like to know how to do programming in there myself eventually.

katherine's theme, is at once eerie and stark, but building... i love that nymanesque aspect to your strings, and so minor, and deep with touching cellos...

what a brilliant composition, i love this music

Hi Ronnie,

Can you send your entry to composer@dilettantemusic.com. You will need to include the audio file, the score and the name of a piece of chamber music that has influenced you as well as a brief paragraph of your influences. Make sure that the instrumentation matches those specified in the outlines, the link i will post below. Any questions contact me either on here or send an email to the address above.

Hi Ronnie, thanks for inviting me. Just curious, but how do you start your movie project? How do you compose the music for it? How do you use Logic 8 in this process?

thanks for taking the time to listen. I am listening to the the first track on your player which sounds like a very dramatic film score - keep up the good work.
