Beautiful music... your music relaxed my mind, body and Sol. I'm so inspired! Thanks so much for your comment on my profile. How many songs are on your new album?
Nothing fancy, just blood, sweat and tears. :-)
I come up with snippets of ideas, and they are worked and reworked, and reworked until they feel right. These ideas gradually dictate the overall atmosphere of a piece.
(Plus, I suspect, the subliminal effect of over 45 years of playing music (as a pianist) and listening to I don't know how many tens of thousands of different pieces of classical music )
Thank you very much, Jeremy! I'm actually working on writing something similar to what you describe for string quartet. Very different for me, but I'm trying new things.
thanks alot Jeremy,Ive added some new tracks and updated my info etc if your interested in a listen.
I have'nt checked in here for a very long time thanks alot for turning me back on to this great forum, talk to you soon!
Thanks ;-) "Musical" and "insanity" is two words I enjoy ALOT! Was to a lecture about atonal classical music today. Well, that is for sure true insanity -
I use cubase 6 as a sequencer and the east west orchestra gold as library.
I know VSL, and I'm making love to her on the internet, looking demos, watching how easy would be to program it :D
I think is fantastic for more complex and more classical compositions, whereas the east west is very tricky to use, and you end up loading too much stuff
