Hey Xcid, it's Cody. I'm sorry I've not been on for a while. I was at my parent's house where the internet connection goes in and out and I couldn't access my comments page. I'm doing well, though I'm very busy in summer classes at the university. I'm also writing music for a dark comedy for use at Wutjealous Films. How are you doing?
Cody
Listened to the silence melody - very realistic piano sound. You must have some good libraries. Also I admire your drums - something I need to learn much more about.
Thank you for your comment and please upload more of your music here coz its wonderful!
I enjoyed listening to Silance Melody and The Truth's Return Theme and i also liked Midnight's Moon which is on your site.
Your pieces are so alive and easily come into imagination filling it with pictures...which means:the work is done perfectly!
Hey Xcid, I seem to be doing alright. I have just had my choir work judged by the juries at Cal State and it didn't go over too well. But, just wait until fall. I'll knock their socks off with my band piece. I've also been desperately looking for more opportunities to showcase my other songs that have nothing to do with concert music. I have so many questions to ask about getting my works published and heard. I just don't know who to ask or where to get my start. Otherwise, I've used this summer break to get two new works started. I just want these to be performed somehow. How are you doing?
Hi Xcid. It's really great to here you like Sci-Fi City Builder! I really worked hard on that track. I will definitely keep on going.
I've just listened to 'The Truth's Return Theme' and I really like it. There's a tangible atmosphere there. I like how it's based on just those two chords played on strings. Everything builds on top of that and it never gets boring. The drums sounds, in particular, are strong.
Hello Xcid
Thank you again for your comments and appreciation. Its truly great to know that I have friends out here like you. I really enjoyed your music as well. Silence Melody is very relaxing! It reminds me of Yanni!! I think you have great ideas. Keep them shining and make sure you share them with all of us here!! Have a fantastic week!

Been busy preparing for a trip. I hardly recognized your photo. Spent much time on the boat since the weather's been nice. I've been working on some compositions in between, but none are progressing quickly or easily.
Thank you very much for your kind words Douglas, i'm so glad you liked it and also thanks for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate it !
I have a lot of tracks but its about time for me to publish'em... sometimes is hard to focus on it but your words motivate me a lot!
finally, glad i came back, this is the kind of dark score i wanted to hear in Star Treks latest movie, your music is dark but uplifting, going in opposite directions just like every wave in the ocean....
wow, the simplicity and clarity and rising layers, maybe the 'truth' can be found in beauty, such as this.
embraces,
your music is really without fear...which makes it honest and signature you, thus original... if this was something that was important to you as an artiste, it really isn't for me, i would rather just try to make whatever i am working on as good as it can be.... when i began i wanted to be 100percent stylistic as you are....
now your craft, with drums and all, make you the kind of composer that could actually be hired to compose a theme..., it's really only a matter of doing on your end.. because all the waves ultimately either subside or break
xcid, i am sitting here for quite a while, the
''buffering' isn't working... i so remember 'silence melody' i wanted to talk about the return theme, and thank you for kind words..
how cool, someone made the same background for me, listening to silence melody as i write to you.... it's so romantic and dark, and well recorded,,, love the rythym, and simple piano.... and thematic sense, for score, and with so many voices, and emotion, now joyful..
