Well, thanks for acknowledging the effort anyway Donny. I the strings aren't expressive, but little on a synthesizer is, unless you can play the music and still find a free hand for that modulation wheel that I never touch. It is a little ironic that, being a harpsichord player, I favor overbearing strings and thin harpsichord textures where they occur together. The harpsichord has a magical quality: it never sounds better when amplified above its natural, real volume, and most often worse.

Hi, Donny!

Sorry for the late reply back to your Hello, but I've been preoccupied. Glad to see you here!

At first glance, I'd say very playable. Staves two and three will need to be done separately on keyboard synth, then a go at staves 1, 4, and 5 on harpsichord, then mix audio and see what happens. This is always a challenge for me, because I have to play with headphones on, set very low, to monitor the other "players", which tends to throw me off.

Let's try "It Hurts To See You Go : Now I Have To Buy a Microwave". I'll have to use synth strings, but it sounds like it can be successfully arranged for harpsichord. If necessary, I can print the parts from midi using Notation Player (its free and so simple, even I can use it).

Hi Donny,

Do you have any sheet music for keyboard (harpsichord), under six octaves? I'll take a whack at it.

Love the music, and your "Scottish" piece, soundfonts or not, the writing is rustic and true. I especially enjoyed Waltzing in Neverland. I can relate to wireless and living in a hut in the remote jungle, because I too have access only to wireless service and live in a slightly more remote and savage place - the locals here call it "Indiana" .. I think it means "too much corn" in their native tongue, but not sure on that.

Donny,

Thanks for the comment and feedback! I agree, one of my biggest challenges right now is creating less derivative pieces, but I'm working on it :) Love your music!
