Douglas,
Take it for what it is worth, but when I listen to Les_Anges, it makes me feel like crying but out of happiness. To best describe it I would say, it is like a movie where after the storm happens you know that everything is okay and you find peace in knowing that. Bravo! I wish I could play the piano like you! Just amazing!

String Theory is part of a library set that is basically using the orchestra like a rock band. Glad you liked it.

Hello, everyone. I would like to add you as friend but I'm having problem with it, don't know what happened. Anyway, please check out my page, if you like my musics, feel free to add me. Besides, I may release my album at the mid of December.

Hi Douglas,
Thank you for your very kind comments. I have been enjoying improvising violin over 'Raining with you' and 'Rue' and it's certainly has made me discover many new layers in you compositions. For me, the moods keep on changing and moving on a spectrum between melancholy, stillness, contentment and total peace. Thank you for sending your transcriptions, they are beautiful pieces. Although improvising has been a good start my current work load and time pressures have not enabled me to get anything recorded yet. Until later...

Best wishes,
Marie-Anne

Not a problem =)

And thank you for your thoughts on my last WIP; I'm always glad to hear that someone gets something out of what I write.

So I listened to your newest piece, and I must say it made me feel calm.

I have a bad habit of thinking of what instruments I would like to add when I listen to pieces of music, but it's definitely not necessary, here.

It sounds great =)

Thanks, Douglas, for your comments about "In the Light of the Trinity." Frankly, it's rather surprising that people seem to like it, as I struggled for years with it and am still not totally satified with it. I guess I have a vision for the piece, which I feel I haven't yet captured. However, your comments encourage me to think I'm moving in the direction of one day reaching that place where the vista I picture in my mind unfolds beneath me and the sound reverberating in the canyons is the song breaking out from my soul, or is it whispered from beyond?

I'm listening to your piece "Love Rules" as I write this and sense that you have glimpsed visions of what Messiaen calls the "amen." It's a piece of lush abandon, rhapsodic delight, and beauty. Keep the vision alive.

Hi Douglas,
I am writing this as i am listenning to the Rue revisited....isnt it so very nice and sweet piece!....i can see mountains and a lake in my imagination when i hear it,the water is very calm and clear,so sweet and calming music.I like the part when the violin comes.....it takes me away to this another place.....far away from here.....
Enjoyed very much listenning to it.
Thank you for taking my mind away by this music!

So many lions of the music world here, yourself included. And enter Malcolm to the den with his little tunes. Now I know how Daniel felt!

I must say I like Sweet Colleen too. And would not be adverse to meeting the girl. With the accompaniment of your beautiful music I would surely win her heart. Poor girl!

Have a wonderful weekend
Hugs
Malcolm
