Nov/Dec projects.
I finished writing music for a few episodes of an internet web series produced by The Jim Henson Company. It should be out sometime this year. I also wrote a disco knockoff track for a Showtime reality TV series and a few commercials, one running right now for a furniture store chain based in Arizona.
I scored a friend's short film, "Life's a Joke," a comedy featuring cameos from Carl Ballantine (Gruber!) and Bruce Baum. I enjoy doing comedy - I've done music for a comedy web series on Superdeluxe.com but most of the films I've scored have been horror/action movies so it was a nice change.
Speaking of horror/action films, I found out (by google search) that a film I scored in 2002, "Deadly Species," has been running on the SciFi Channel in Europe off and on for the past year and a half. Another film called "Brutal," that I placed two songs in, has been playing this month on the NBC/Uni cable channel "Chiller."
I also write music tracks for a few library music production companies. After Xmas, I was informed that several of my tracks were used in the cable series' "Model Latina," "Jammin" and "On The Up" on the SI TV Network.
Pretty exciting! Looking forward to the new year.
