Thanks for these comments! 1) Was intentional, I think the valleys and peaks of the piece speak for themselves. 2) Was not aware of this rule of rest notation, thanks. 3) Agree, thanks. As far as your "longer" comment - perhaps you have picked up on something - this was originally going to be one of three parts. Never wrote the other two parts! So my intent was for it to be longer
