Organ Fantasy VI : Pseudo Perpetuum Mobile

Recently, I revisited Tallis's Lament. I've been stuck on it for days, one of those strange funks where you've got something on a loop and can't seem to stop listening to it.

Anyway, although this music is in no way explicitly related to Tallis's work, outside of the fact that he's had a profound impact as a composer on my writing, somehow I suspect his lament has inspired or influenced the work presented here, in some nebulous way.

Speaking of matters on, or in, a loop, this is a perpetuum mobile, intentionally contrived such that it hopefully comes to a satisfying conclusion. By snipping it just so, in precisely the right spot, it could be played in a continuous and sensible loop forever.
