Music Composers Unite!
My album, 'One' by Fusion Galaxy, now goes to mastering. This is an exciting time for me. I've never produced an album before. It has taken over three years to complete. I have hired session musicians to help realize my musical vision. The first session guy I found was CF's own Christopher Alpiar. The moment I heard his saxophone solos, I knew he would be great to work with. Seth Burkhart on drums was also an early discovery. He plays with his jazz group all over the world, and also has a background in pop/rock. He recorded his drum parts at Garden Rock Studios on Nantucket Island, MA. His drums were tracked by Nick and Victor Ferrantella. I found a great vocalist here in Phoenix- Darl Chryst, who plays in local jazz bands. I found Adrian Peek here at Composers' Forum. He added his excellent drum tracks in his studio in LA, where he did his own tracking. Matthew Gordon was a late addition- brought in for his fine solo violin work, for the tune, 'Curiosity'. Also- I went to high school with Robin Armstrong. He plays an excellent guitar solo on the album's first track, 'Solstice'.

Good luck!
Yeah- I need to setup a publishing company for my music. Adrian peek and Chris Alpiar can help me with that...
Thanks for the info. Are you going to publish it somewhere?
Here's a basic FAQ about mastering:

Mastering fine-tunes each tune on the album, matching levels, and EQ enhancements to assure the music sounds good on various systems, from high end home stereos, to boom boxes, to laptop speakers, etc. Mastering will supply me with a file or disc that I can use for CD manufacturing.
