Thanks to Michael Diemer for welcoming me to the forum. I'll lay low for a while, to see how things are done around here.

I have uploaded a few songs to have some presence here, but I ran into problems with the size limit. I'll have to rework most mp3s I have if I intend to upload them here. As most pieces are jazz and improvised music recorded live, they can get fairly big.

That's it for now, thank you all, and I will see if I can start participating in some discussion around here.

Gav, thanks, of course you are right. I guess I didn't truly understand what was said in the rules

We ask that you post some music to your profile here (not just a link to another site)

That sentence is perfectly clear, but as I am not a native speaker, I thought it meant not linking to sound files, although it clearly is talking about sites and not files. So everything is fine.

René, if the files are too big to post here, you can post elsewhere and provide a link
