Music Composers Unite!

This is a new song I made for a couple of weeks ago. It is a very personal song that means a lot to me, hence I have stripped it down as much as possible with a simple piano.

I have worked a lot with my vocal and tried to add some feelings to the song. I have also added some strings/Pads with some percussion in the end with a touch of ethnical instruments. The sounds I have picked from the Soundbanks from Propellerheads Reason. The Vocal I have recorded in Propellerheads Record.

Thank you so much Eddie Reader. I would have to check the other pieces of music you listed. made me very curious :) I am glad you liked the song. It is a very personal song for me, so it of course means a lot when people like the song :)

I'm very fond of fond of atmospheric music and having watched a programme on BBC 4 on minimalist compostion found Falling very intersting.
Playing this whilst looking through my window at falling leaves on a wet English morning it seemed perfect. I felt it encompassed the view in the same way I feel about Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis captures the border area in late autumn/winter between England and Wales or the theme from Seance on a Wet Afternoon by John Barry. At least for me.
I was a bit ambivalent about the extra instrumentation towards the end. Those bars are the sort that prompt for several listenings in order to dig a luttle deeper, but the end was very good.
Well done.

Thank you so much Michael and Ray :)

and thank you with sound design Ray, it is very interesting to hear what some more percussion and soundscapes can do. I truly liked it :) *currently listens to it :)*

Very effective palette of sounds, Gry. I listened to it as I watched the leaves falling outside my window, and the effect was very powerful. Very autumnal music, austere but beautiful.
