I have just added 6 new songs for you to hear. I just got them from the studio in a format I could share here. (1) Like Children - was considered for use as the theme for the Atlanta Summer Olympics; but, alas, it came in second in the selection process. The Olympic theme that year was highlighting "the child in all of us." I wrote this song for my two daughters who were very young at this time, from watching them everyday play and enteract with others. It was recorded but never released as the deal fell through at the last moment - typical! I wrote both music and lyrics and I also played piano on the recording. (2) Clearview - was the Second single and the CDtitle track for The Controllers last album, I wrote the all music and lyrics. (3) When I'm Away - the first single from the same cd I co-wrote the music and lyrics. I love the song it feels so good in the old school style. (4) Since You Asked Me To - was the first single for a black gospel album by a white chick - Allison Kyle - the greatest singer you never heard. It was her debut release Walk the Talk and she died shortly after the release. She did perform this tune on BET at the internationally broadcast Black Journalist Awards Show. (No one turned in a cue sheet to BMI - of course!! but 12 million folks heard the song, worldwide, in that one performance)I wrote all music and lyrics. (5) Lead Me Home - was another single from the same CD. I wrote all music and lyrics. I Believe - This was to be on the same album Walk the Talk, but was cut by the record company for being too (long 6 minutes +) Too bad, I like the song very much! I wrote all music and lyrics. Drop me a note and tell me how you like my songs, I enjoy doing song composition but I never am able to place tunes very well and thus never get much stuff out to the public and also don't get a chance to make much money from it. But I do enjoy songwriting a great deal and I would like to do more if any of you have projects or would like to collaborate. Let me know and drop me a note -Chris
