my composition for the short CG animation film by Zennor Alexander titled 'Grey's Elegy' was a runner up in the Soundsonline May/June music contest as voted for by the Sounds-online team and the movies creater.

As a prize I get to pick one of their new Play sample Libraries!

theres no synths in this one,I created all the sound design/FX in protools from a waterphone sample ,but I know what you mean.
I agree re vocals,they are a little dominant,
I might mix a version without the vocals untill 1:02 and post it aswell.

Hmm,..I have Truestrike 2 so theres no point in SD2,
re VOP ,It bothers me that everyone wants it,theres going to be a flood of bad Zimmer/Gerrard type rip-offs,however its a great library and very useful for film/games etc.
MOR....no...Fab4.....no.

I agree,most of the entries were action,electro/orchestra based, I wanted to score the emotion behind the act instead of the act itself.

Nice one, Dean! I planned on entering this but procrastinated for too long and didn't get down to it... It's particularly heartening that your entry is subtler than the others I've looked at.
