No, my name is not DACH, it's actually Chuck but a little internet anonymity keeps the weirdo cartoon fan club kids from calling the house about things I did over 10 years ago. BTW, DACH is short for Dachshund(s), of which I have a couple of the little b***ards.
I'm primarily working as a composer, writer and producer. Just to clarify, I use the term "composer" loosely when it comes to my work. I'm somewhat inexperienced with composing for orchestra unlike some of you folks... but I'm hitting the brick wall full speed!
I own a small publishing company. Right now I'm working on two movies concurrently. I have a stack of 15 40 year old reels awaiting me to transfer for a client. I'm in the final stages of recording vocals on a Disney type Childrens project that I produced. I've been working with artists and an animator on this one so I've recently learned a whole bunch of new ways to get headaches.
The truth is, that's just scratching the surface. I've got more work than I know what to do with. Although that was not the case a year ago, I'm wondering just which one of feast or famine is actually better.
