Quantize or not quantize? (grooves, humanize, swing)

HI:)
Let's think... Why live execution sounds much better than written down and edited in sequenser? I think that the matter is that numerous frameworks in which we put our musi. Templates, midi grooves. quantize, the fixed rate.... I think all it kills our music....

I hear that sometimes after quantize in rhythmic drawings the feeling groove is lost.
Even solo parts after after quantize spoil. Therefore I them not quantize... It is not correct?

Quantize or not quantize?
My personal point of view is:
Depends on how much time you have to get things done and how fast you need them and to what ears your projects are made for /case of you need them evaluated -sort of speak/
What I would like is to know why you feel that all these processes kill the music ? just curious.

i am led to believe that "live" music sounds better than the other kind because the sounds are being produced by musicians who in many caes, give every apperance of being alive. They, like all of us, suffer the slings and arrows and it shows. The heart beats irregularly, blood sugar levels control our world veiw and we much prefer the curved straight lines of the parthanon to the inhumanly straight lines of a less imaginative structure.

All a fanciful way of saying that music produced by living musicains is filled with rubato and and interpretative nuance so that it becomes immeasuarbly more appealing (at least to me) than the mechanical perfections of machine generated noise.
