Awesome 16yr old Voice!!

Hello everyone!
I was asked to record this fantastic 16 yr old who wrote her own music & lyrics called "You Hold The Key" I was asked to orchestrated the music. Alyssa had no music for me to go by. So What I wrote came from what I heard in the recording. I recorded her playing the Piano, then recorded her singing. I then layered these two tracks together once edits were completed. I then imported them into Cubase as an audio file and orchestrated from there.
Please let me know your thoughts, opinions, comments for improvment. I think this 16 yr old has a great future ahead of her!! We are still recording her music. This is the first one completed.

She does have a great voice! One comment for improvement that I noticed almost immediately when listening to the song was that the instrumentation does not sound like it is blending with the singers voice. This could well be from my speakers and such. The singer is way up front and the music sound to me like it is too far back. I can also hear other sound that appear to be coming from her mouth like lips smacking or something. Maybe remixing it would help? You are light years ahead of me on that sort of thing so unfortunately I cant offer a solution if this becomes something you would want to correct.

That is the only criticism I can come up with. The song is beautiful and well done. Thanks for sharing it with me. Best of luck to the young lady as well!
