I would like to announce that I am starting a new group for world music composers or for anyone interested in exploring how world music or the use of ethnic intruments might add to your composing repetoire. I hope to regularly update the group with items of interest and hopefully we can exchange ideas. Is it really that long? .....and some new tunes!

Gosh, it's back in august since I last posted anything on this forum! I have been continuing to enjoy my exploration of world music and I have written quite a few tunes in the meantime. I am tending to compose from my keyboard by improvisation and then tidying things up. It seems to produce a more "spontaneous" performance. My new direction in to world music

I have been rather quiet lately on this forum as I have been exploring the genre of world music which I am a big fan of. I have now posted my first offering in this genre and so I hope you like it. It is called The Relaxing Sitar and I think it does what it says on the tin. Continue
