A Little Game

Just added A Game of Tag to my music player. I short cue full of mischief and surprises. I like the way it plays with the listener's sense of 'simple time' by seemingly hitting the next bar before the listener is ready - a bit like the game: getting caught out when you are not paying full attention.

Something a little different

I thought I'd have a go at something a little different this evening. I guess one of the many roles a composer can fill with the help of a good music supervisor is source music: the band playing when the character switches on the car stereo; or the club who's thumping sound system can be felt many doors away; or the Jazz Quartet on stage in some flashy cocktail lounge frequented by equally flashy punters...

3 New Tracks - 14th April 2009

So I've managed to bounce a couple more tracks down for you all to audition. The first, Bicycle Music goes back to my liking of the sound world of kids/family films. Always invokes memories of sun-drenched careless afternoons playing and bicycle spokes. Bizarre, I know.
