Sound-Cloud

Since this sentence is to long for my activity input, I'm writing it down here.

I've recently discovered "soundcloud" and added some of my compositions on it. Here it is, my new account of many many many, too many of others: https://soundcloud.com/ursula-jasovec

I wish, boy do I wish

This was my first attempt at a composition a month or so ago. I use the Anvil Studio DAW along with an add-on for multiple VSTs, one of which is Garriton’s Jazz and Big Band. So the quality of some instruments may vary.

Here is a link to my own blog on my own site to explain the rationale behind it.

Falling

This is a new song I made for a couple of weeks ago. It is a very personal song that means a lot to me, hence I have stripped it down as much as possible with a simple piano.

I have worked a lot with my vocal and tried to add some feelings to the song. I have also added some strings/Pads with some percussion in the end with a touch of ethnical instruments. The sounds I have picked from the Soundbanks from Propellerheads Reason. The Vocal I have recorded in Propellerheads…

Recordings: New LONG excerpts posted!

Hey there! I've just posted new longer excerpts for your listening enjoyment. Let me know what you think of this- my first album. 'One' can be described as a fusion of jazz and rock. There are also two songs with vocals by Darl Chryst. I co-wrote a tune with Christopher Alpiar- track 6, 'Ostinato Trip'. Chris plays saxophone on many of these tracks. Superb drums by Adrian Peek and also Seth Burkhart. I played guitars, bass, and…

I'm back. Yippee!!!

I'm back!!!  My les and feet are beginning to heal, and I have finally found a doctor who is sympathetic to my pain, and has prescribed me painkillers that actually work this time.  So, as soon as I can afford to get an IT technician in to chuck out all the adware and malware on my computer, and speed it up to its normal pace, I will be composing again.  And I must say, three years away from the drawing board has killed me.  Now, I have visions of the blank manuscript up on my monitor, ready…

Lakemont

This is an arrangement for String Orchestra of my "Trio in Three"

It is in three movements. The short second movement leads straight into the 3rd without a break.

Music Journal 13 Oct 1013

11 Oct 2013: Recently music has become rather important to me. I think there are several reasons for this. I can’t explore all of those reasons now but will over time when I am able to understand myself what they are. And I have come to want to do something with it, with my type of music whatever that may be. And what do I actually mean when I say “do something with it”? I hardly would mean performing it publicly as I have no desire to do that sort…

It's a mirage, Igor. (Revised version)

This is a revised version of my work for Wind Orchestra - It's a mirage, Igor. (Written in 2012)

This is just produced out of Sibelius 6 (using Sib. 6 sounds) with reverb and Virtual Sound Stage, so,...

...Yes, I know it could sound better if I took the… Continue
