Hi CF,

If someone asked me what was important about 2010 for digital samples I'd really only have one reply: polyphonic legato.

A level results and uni

Well I got ABBC in my A level results today! If your not from England then A levels are what you do when your from about 16-18 years old, if you choose to go to college. I only needed 3 C's to get onto the course I am doing in September, which is of course 'Music Composition.' 3 years of writing music here I come! Hopefully i get alot better and will eventually get closer to writing music that would be viable for commercial products like TV and video games if i'm super lucky. Can't wait!!! Plus… Continue

In the beginning there was nothing

Greetings.

This blog will help me to sort and archive my works.

My first (and probably only) blog

Hmm... dont really know how to write a blog... Oh well, ill just ramble on for a bit. Enjoy!

Have we become to DAW dependent or is music notation become less relivant in our computer age?

Over the last few months I have noticed a trend in the forums, especially in the music dissection forum. More and more of the comments about music posted here have been more about music production (i.e. sample

sounds used, mix of DAWs, ect, ect) and less comments about the overall music

itself. Along with that, I have seen less actually sheet music posted on this

forum, and more composers admitting that do not have any notated music to show

what so ever.…
