SUNSET IN RIALTO

Just an old song of mine in a home recording from last summer. Me and a friend on guitars and him also singing it as my voice was quite out of order. Since it has Greekk lyrics I give a rough translation

New song, "Tidal Wave"

Hey everyone, I'm new to this site and its awesome to be a part of it.

I'm a pretty novice composer, I have been a musician for the past 11 years but have more recently gotten better at digitally composing music with DAW software. I mess around with anything from movie soundtrack-esque tracks to some hip-hop style beats and even some upbeat electronic songs.

I'd love for anyone to check out the latest track I uploaded and give me some honest…

New Solo Piano Album - "Sounds"

Hi all,

Yesterday, i released a new conceptual album for piano solo and sounds.

If you have time to listen a little, thanks !

A little about the project:

After listening to scientists sounds recorded from different sources (space, planets, earth...), i decided to perform solo piano improvisations with some basic structures.

So, every track start from with an improvisation principle,…

"Raoul's Rescue Mission" for narrator and orchestra/piano

Hi! Recently I finished a composition which I worked on for more than a year. It's a musical story for narrator and orchestra. I also created a version for narrator and piano because I am a pianist and it's probably easier to get a piano version of the work performed.

The story is titled "Raoul's Rescue Mission" and is based on a children's book I wrote some 15 years ago. The piano version is probably the easiest performed by two persons (a pianist and a speaker),…

Did I really write all this crazy hard stuff?!

Today I finally got a chance to actually sit down at the piano (well, an electronic one, but still) and try to play my fugue in C# minor myself for the first time. And I was greatly dismayed to discover that I couldn't play it at all... What sounded relatively tame in midi turned out to be extremely difficult for me to play.  That's probably a sign of how lousy my non-existent piano skills are, or perhaps fugues are…

Tango variations no. 2

And hete is some electronic music inspired by milonga dance. It´s just too fast so I named it "Supersonic Milonga".

Tango variations no. 1

These days I listened too much tango music and tried to mix it with some other music genres. This is my view on classical string quartet spiced with a pinch of drums playing gentle almost-tango (or pseudotango).

English Folk Song Suite No.1 & American Folk Song Suite No.1

These have been published elsewhere on CF but I thought some members might be interested in (and perhaps comment on) the contrast and appeal of these two arrangements. The American piece has been improved somewhat thanks to Bob Porter's input, for which many thanks.
