More music for Winds

I am thrilled by a new force in my compositin: writing for winds.  There is something unique about the winds and brass instruments.  I have written much for saxophone and saxophone quartet lately, and also for wind ensemble.  If you ever want to break into this exciting genre, just transcribe something for a school wind ensemble, and KAPOW you've got pieces being played.

why is contemporary music so bad

why is contemporary music regardless of style so bad? lve heard many theorys such as the dominance of technology in the music making process, the short sightedness of record companies;however to me none of these theorys get to the bottom of the problem.I think the crux of the problem is cultural decline due to our increasing alienation from nature. But I hope you like it anyhow.. is a simple melody, but suitable for the fantasy theme.,

I use Reason and Reason-record to create the music and my vocal on…

Greetings from a Musical Mind

Hello Composers' Forum members!

This is my first ever blog.

I have been trained in music for 10 years now. I started by playing the Bb trumpet from 5th grade up through high school. I have been composing music for three years now, though it has only been recently that I have been publishing with full rights to my work. I have yet to get a recording done by a real musician, but I am working with a friend to do just that at the moment.

I feel that…
